Introduction During the development of the soybean mutagenized M2 libraries for TILLING (Forrest and Williams82), approximately 3000 M2 lines were scored for their phenotype. To track and sort these mutants, a Soybean Mutant Database has been developed. While developing a database that would search for “TILLED” genes, we decided to extend our effort and develop a search engine to track the available public data on soybean gene mutations. Our goal is to extend our phenotype score to include a total of 9000 M2 lines, and the gene mutation database to include all publicly available soybean mutants’ genes.
